5 out of 5 stars!!!
I know that a lot of you guys are intimidated by this book, regardless of how many 5 star ratings you see fluttering onto your wall about the breathtakingly handsome Cruel Prince that you’re about to read; that intimidation will never cease. Before I picked this book up that’s exactly me. What if I liked it so much that I will be stranded in the bay of loneliness not being able to read yet another book? What if I stayed up all night imagining things that I want to happen but didn’t? What if I will be on autopilot mode for days? What if this book destroy me? but trust a fangirl who took the risk of reading this book, THAT WILL NOT BE THE CASE
“I have lied and I have betrayed.”
Reading the first sentence of this book is enough to enrapture a reader’s attention, no need for silly and flowery introduction, this novel starts with a bang, murder to be precise. The main character is a greedy, power hungry bitch who seeks to fit into the faerie world and would do anything, betray anyone that gets in her way to attain her goals. Still intimidated? Let me tell you this, this story is not about love, that element has too little to do with what’s going on inside the world building of this book. Whatever it is that you think this book is about, it’s not it.
What if I liked it so much that I will be stranded in the bay of loneliness not being able to read yet another book?
-Oh trust me, you will not just like this book, you will love it. You won’t be able to start a new book right away after you finished it but that will last for 1 to 2 days tops.
What if I stayed up all night imagining things that I want to happen but didn’t?
– You won’t! everything is perfectly orchestrated and you will not want to change any details because the author went into a witch’s tavern ask for a spell in order to read the reader’s mind, or at least that’s my theory, plus, if you stayed up all night; it’s only to finish this book. Lol
What if I will be on autopilot mode for days?
– Nope, you won’t. You will wake up invigorated because you just went dallying with a gorgeous fae prince the night before. Even though that fae prince can be a selfish, cowardly, son of a bitch sometimes.
What if this book destroy me?
– If this book managed to destroy you, then destroy it too. You can throw it in a cauldron and watch it boil. You can throw it on a wall unceasingly or you can simply burn it. I doubt the book will get hurt but I’m sure you will. You spent money to buy it afterall.
I don’t know if I managed to lessen your intimidation or maximize it but I just want you to know that it doesn’t matter what you read, as long as you’re happy then so be it. Screw this review. lol
